A Wardogs scoreboard from a match report link.
After a Wardogs match, paste the link to its match report, or bring a file with each player's name, kills and deaths. You get a board you lay out by squad and style yourself, and an image to post in Discord. Save your matches and their stats add up. Rosterstats still does less for Wardogs than for the Hell Let Loose games, and this page says where.
Two ways bring your players in.
- A link to the match's report page, such as …/m/2031-AbCdEf123, when your server publishes match reports. Paste it into Import from link and pick your faction. It brings each player's faction, kills, deaths, headshots, best streak and vehicle kills, and the kill-by-kill timeline.
- A file you make (.csv or .txt) with one player per line: name, kills, deaths, separated by commas or tabs. The file doesn't say which game it's from, so pick Wardogs in the top bar first. Once the board is on Wardogs, the IDs in a file don't switch it. Set the match's Length on the board so KPM can be worked out.
A report link also fills in the date, the length and the result: your faction's placing, with each faction's points.
Your squads, your names.
Neither way brings squads from the game, so on a new board every player starts in the Players panel. After a report link it lists them by faction, yours first. Players already in your squads stay there and get their numbers from the report, matched by name. Add squad has seven presets and Custom squad takes any name, so the board can carry your clan's own squad names. Style it in Format and press Export PNG. Layouts saves your squads, without their players, for the next match.
Stats that count Wardogs matches alone.
Stats covers every saved Wardogs match, over all time or the last 30 days, 90 days or year. It shows K/D and KPM match by match and by type of squad. The type comes from the squad's name. A name Stats can't place counts as Infantry. In a match from a report link, it counts as Armor when most of the squad's kills came from a tank's weapons. A match from a report link adds each player's headshots, best streak and vehicle kills, and sorts kills by weapon type. First place counts as a win on Home. Add your players to the team to see each player's progression. Your stats and matches aren't public unless you share a link.
What a Wardogs match doesn't get.
A match report brings less than a link to a CRCON stats page. A file you make brings even less.
- No squads from the game. You place every player yourself.
- No player IDs from a match report. Stats matches those players by name only.
- No capture times or vehicles destroyed. Rosterstats reads those only from CRCON. Vehicle kills are kills made with a vehicle's weapons, a different count from vehicles destroyed.
- No match file or match log. A Wardogs match gets its timeline only from the link to its match report.
- No faction, result or timeline from a file you make. Those come with the report link.
Questions
- Will a stats file from a Wardogs match load?
- Rosterstats imports a Wardogs match from the link to its match report, when your server publishes one. It has no import made for a Wardogs stats file. A .csv or .txt file loads when it has name, kills and deaths in that order, or a header line naming them. If yours doesn't load, send it to support@rosterstats.com and we'll look.
- Why did the board switch to another game?
- On Hell Let Loose or Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, the board picks the game from the IDs in a file. A Steam64 ID reads as Hell Let Loose. A file where every ID is 32 hex characters reads as Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. Pick Wardogs in the top bar, then save. Once the board is on Wardogs, the IDs in a file don't switch it. A match report link switches the board to Wardogs by itself.
- What ID does a Wardogs player use?
- Rosterstats doesn't hold a Wardogs ID to a set format. It takes 2–64 letters, digits, underscores, hyphens or periods. To include IDs in a file you make, start it with a header line: Name, Kills, Deaths, Player ID. Stats matches players by ID before name. In a match from a file with IDs, a name change doesn't split their stats once they have an ID. Players from a match report come without IDs, so Stats matches them by name only.
